Joseph Furtado (79), husband of the late Nathalia Furtado, father of Carol/Colin Lobo, Sharol/Lancy Pais & Meural, passed away on the April 10, 2016.

Funeral cortege leaves residence ‘Blue Star’, Shivabagh New Road, Kadri, Mangalore for St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore on Monday, April 11 at 4.30 pm. Mass at 5.00 pm.

Dear Meural,

Please accept our sympathies at the sad demise of your father. I have not been in touch with him for many years but he was well known to me and my family when he used to reside in Kallianpur during his School days and beyond. Due to some unfortunate mis-information about s death (rather than your mother's some time in the past) and lack of it during his being bedridden for a year or so recently, I somehow lost a last chance to be in touch with him while he was still alive - which I sincerely regret. Anyway, he is in a better place now enjoying Heavenly bliss with his loved ones and all other faithful souls. May his soul rest in Eternal Peace and may the Lord give you strength to bear the painful loss of your father - we pray in the name of Lord Jesus.
