Viewing at ‘Sea View’, Bolar, Mangalore on Thursday, March 10, from 11.00 am onwards. Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3.30 pm. Mass at Rosario Cathedral, Mangalore at 4.00 pm, followed by burial at Jeppu cemetery.

Our deepest sympathies to you all on the sad passing away of your beloved Mum, our dearest loving Aunty Otty. May God give you all the strength and courage to accept this great loss. She was loving, affectionate, generous and hospitable to all. I spent a lot of time with her in Mangalore and on one of her visits to Bombay she had stayed at my place in Sion. She has joined her dear ones and ours too who have gone ahead, and also dear aunty Emily within a month. I have sad memories of both aunties when I last visited them as they felt bad when I was leaving and I repeatedly told them I will visit them on my next trip and now sad that they are no more. Dear Aunty Ophie, Marie and Celine our condolences to you too, both your sisters leaving in a short period is sad. Along with you all we too share your grief, they were most loving not only to family but to all who knew them. We pray may their souls rest in peace.

Dear members of the Albuquerque family,
Heartfelt condolences on the demise of your dearest mother, Aunt Otty as I used to know her. She was an amazing lady and was involved in a host of social ,political, and religious causes. Energetic, charming and intelligent she carved out a place for herself in predominantly male dominions and carried herself with grace, panache and simplicity. My mother was closely associated with her in the Ladies social Service Club at Jeppu for many years. My parents were good friends of her and uncle Cyril who was a frequent visitor to our home in Valencia. As a student I had many opportunities to associate with her in connection with extra-curricular activities and social action and I had great respect and admiration for her. I met her for the last time about ten years ago at a wedding and we had a long dance and chat on the floor...what a beautiful memory to cherish her with.
She lived a long and active life in the service of others and has now gone to her eternal rest. May she enjoy heavenly bliss and send down abundant blessings upon all of you. R.I.P....Elvin Colaco
