Emily D'Souza (96), wife of the late Felix D'Souza, daughter of the late Rao Sahib Francis Lobo and the late Lily Lobo, mother of Alan and Daphne (Jamshedpur), Margaret and Ken Maskey (UK), Sheila and Rajkumar (Bengaluru) & Dr John and Debbie (Pune), passed away on 13 February, 2016.

Funeral in Bengaluru on Monday, 15 February. Mass at 10 am at St Anthony's Friary Chapel, Hosur Road, followed by cremation at Wilson Garden.

Dear Alan, Margaret, Sheila, John & family,
Do accept our heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of your dear mom and our dear aunty Emily. She was such a loving, kind & generous person. She loved all who came to visit her. I would always see her when in Mangalore and she was always wanting me to spend some time with her. I would never miss visiting her. Our sympathies also go out to our aunties Oaty, Ophi, Marie & Celine.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences to my nephews,nieces and their families.

Emily was my eldest cousin and I am the youngest in the M.Pais & sons family, with a huge age difference between us.

I remember in the 70's visiting Emily in Bangalore somewhere near St Joseph's school and more often after that in Mangalore down our road in A.Lily's house in 80's-90's

I did have the opportunity to meet her on visits, since I moved to Boston over two decades ago.

May her soul Rest in Peace.

R.I.P. I remember in my very young days when we lived in Balmatta to have visited Emily's parents and grandfather who was alive then,with my mother and, occasionally with my father as the family lived down the road where we lived (opposite M Vas Bakery)and Francis Lobo (Deputy Collector)'s wife Lily Pais was my father's near relative (paternal side). Emily has lived a wonderful life and God will reward her eternally.
