Very saddened to hear of the demise of my great uncle, Louis Mendonca. My heartfelt condolences to Mary auntie, Ditta, Mona, Edrine, Norman and Manu, and their families.
A legend whose name will carry on forever, and his legacy lives on in the thousands of lives he has touched and help shape into prominence. He has put Shirva on the map. At ease with us when we we children visiting in the summer, to when we grew up and could only send pictures of our children he still remembered everyone and asked about and followed everyone's career. The picture I will always carry of him in my mind will be him with his pipe, a PG Wodehouse book, and laughing heartily at the jokes. A constant stream of visitors would be nonetheless entertained with some his infectious laughter, not to mention Mary aunties never ending kitchen that kept everyone fed.
May his soul rest in peace. May he be united with his son he has missed so much since his untimely demise. May they both forever rest in peace
