Neil J M D’Souza (62), (“Providence”, Vas Lane, 2nd Cross), husband of Sybil, father of Glenn, son of the late Gauldin & the late Anne D’Souza, brother of Donald, Fr Clarence SJ, Cristobel, Mirabel, Anabel, the late Keith & Kenneth, son-in-law of Ida & the late Joe Fernandes, passed away on November 17, 2014.

Mortal remains will be brought to Milagres Church, Mangalore, on Thursday, November 20 at 4.00 pm, followed by Mass at 4.30 pm.

Sybil and Glenn

Relations and Neil were a very popular Mangalorean wedding combo and we know there was a great deal of mutual appreciation.

Neil always spoke well, took charge and even (surprisingly for Mangalore) had his timings down to the minute! Compering aside, we used to chat and joke around during free time and he was genuinely a pleasure to be around and surely a great role model for Glenn who was often with him.

The band was a big part of all of our lives and Neil is inextricably a part of the memories of that time.

There may not be much we can do from our respective bases of New York, Kuwait and Sydney but you should know that we're thinking of you and genuinely sorry at the news of the passing of a wonderful person and a good friend.
