We commend to your prayers the soul of our dear Sr Felcy D’Souza BS who departed this life due to kidney failure on 5th Sept. 2014 at 07.50 a.m. in the 36th year of her Religious Profession and 63rd year of her life. She was a member of Bethany Convent, Salcette, Goa but was residing at Bethany Mother House for the past three years for medical treatment.
Sr Felcy hails from Hosabettu, Moodubidri. She was the eldest child of John Baptist D’Souza and the late Severine Nazareth. She has left behind four brothers and six sisters.
She served in our communities at Karnal, Ludhiana, Aizawl, Agartala, Gadag, Sagar, Bangalore, involving herself in clerical job. She engaged herself in Pastoral apostolate mainly preaching the Word of God and visiting families at Karwar, Quepem and Salcette in Goa. Even though she was sick, her strength was in giving the Word of God to all those who came to see her. Many Catholics of Goa who were employed in Ship were her constant clients seeking the presence of the Divine through her Word of God. May her soul rest in peace.
Her Funeral rites will be held on 6th September 2014 at 2.30 p.m. at Bethany Mother House Chapel, Bendur.
