Hilda passed away in Mumbai after a brief illness on 1st September, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Julie Rego, her son Shawn, and brother Vincent, and is survived by her husband Oswald, daughter Synecca, and brothers John, Clement, Gilbert, sisters Lorna, Greta and Shirley, Tauro & Patrao families and her nieces and nephews.

She was employed by Noble Denton Middle East (Projects Division).

Funeral will be on Thursday, 4th September at 4.30 pm in Our Lady of Egypt Church, Kalina, Mumbai.

Hilda & I spoke on the phone at work a few times a week but sadly never met. She had a lovely caring voice and a laugh that would brighten up your day. I cannot find the right words to express my sincere and heartfelt sadness since hearing of the loss of Hilda and just hope that all her family and friends are managing to cope during this very difficult time.
