Sr Fathima Mary BS passed away of cardiac arrest on 11.08.2014 in the 35th year of her Religious Profession and 64th year of her life. She was a member of Christ King Convent, Guledgudd [Karnataka]. She hails from Dornahally, Mysore. She was the fifth one among the six siblings of Late Mr Anthonappa and Late Mrs Anthonamma. She joined the Bethany Congregation on 04.05.1976 and was professed on 10.05.1979.
Sr Fathima Mary has served in our communities at Sagar, Basrikatte, Gadag, Chittapur, Arsikere and for the past 16 years she was at Guledgudd where she retired in the teaching post. After her retirement she continued to teach the little ones in the same school. She was suffering from acute diabetes and was under medical treatment in the hospital at Guledgudd. Sr Fatima Mary was simple in living, loving in her dealings with all and deeply spiritual. Sr Shilpa BS of Eastern Province is her niece.
Her funeral rites will be held on 12.08.2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, Guledgudd, Bagalkot District at 10.00 am.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, & let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
