My heartfelt condolences to Fernandes Family: My cousins-Mark,Oliva,Rockey, Richard,Antony,Rita, Helen,Olinda, Pramila-very sad to hear the demise of our Dearest uncle John Ferandes Thottam: He was a man of principles, a prayerful and devoted man. He workd hard and disciplinarian (ex-Military and ex (KOC) - Kuwait . He gave best future to his children.He loved his family very much.Though he is dignified and rich man led a simple life and taught the same to his children and family. He was not after name and fame but to spirituality and importance to prayer and Bible teachings.As a child I spent my holidays there and always chatting with him with knowwledge and spiriual things of life.He lived an exemplary life. He Always gave guidance to youngsters and family As a family member he helped us a lot specially who are in need. A very lovable God fearing man so God gave him a long devoted life.We miss him so much. As children he looked us like his own with love. So we cannot forget him in our life.As child I was somewhat influnced by his way of life specially his prayer and simple life. We pray for the departed soul. May God gave him eternal life in Heaven and also the courage and strength to his family to bear this great loss.

Dear children, grandchildren and all members of our dear John Bappu's family:

Sending our heartfelt condolences on the demise of our dear uncle.

John uncle was a GOOD man of great love to his family and friends. A man who lived with the love of God and obeyed His Commandments to his best of ability. His simplicity in life yet was always self reliant in everything he did with total happiness in what he had. He raised a large family of children with the support of his wife Cecil aunty and inculcating the Faith he received from his parents into the lives of all his sons and daughter. He promoted in them excellent values of self respect as well as respect for everybody around them. Both of them were model parents who fostered love and respect to each other.

Surely, he will be missed by everybody in the family, friends and St. Anne's Parish in Thottam because he had cultivated special and unique relationship that will leave a void in their day to day activities. He was grateful to all the blessings and cherished them vocally in his conversation whomsoever he interacted.

A principled, simple good man is no more but leaves behind lots of wonderful memories.

May he be welcomed in his eternal abode for he trusted in Jesus. May he rest in Peace and may the Lord comfort all those he has left behind.

Will certainly miss you dear bappu!!

Sad to hear the demise of our very dear Bappu from this World. A man of virtues and values lived a God fearing long life of 89 years. Was a military service man, in addition worked in Kuwait Oil Company(KOC) for 25 years and at the peak of service at KOC he resigned his job based on his mothers word(to accompany his mother with family in her old age). A hard working who gone to the middle east before independence (those eight days sailing journey). He has a big family with 9 children whom he has gave a dignified profession/future in this world. A man who is not behind riches or name but till the end worked on his own without anybody's assistance for his daily routine care. Man of principle, helpful to all and who was never afraid of death. Principles/Bible and daily prayers is his strength in this God given long life of 89 years. Sure he shall be in Abode of heaven because he has lived a just and simple life.
May Almighty God give strength to his all children to bear the loss of their beloved father. We too miss him a lot as he was a fatherly figure to the extended family too.
