Cecilia Cutinha (82), Pandil House, Beloore Parish, wife of the late Gregory Cutinha, mother of Michael / Leena, Valerian / Lourdes, Eugine / Gilbert, Ignatius / Stella, Alwyn / Carmine, Norbert / Joyce, Herald / Sunitha, Annie / Mark, Sr Juliet, Noel & Fr Dinesh (Port Blair diocese, Andaman), grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 4, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014.

Funeral cortege leaves ‘Greg Cottage’, Shanthi Nagar, Padil at 3.00 pm on Thursday, January 23 for Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar, Mangalore. Mass at 3.30 pm.

Dear Nobbie,
Aunt Cici! (though we never used to address her that way!) with late Gigappu: A most Loveable couple Downright Simpletons! Sincere & Honest to the core, so much so, they not only will make us all embarrassed, but themselves also land up in trouble! Being part of big families (Dozenagatlian!) in addition to the group/ cluster of families under a single roof must've been extremely embarrassing and difficult a situation to them, thereby becoming not so popular, despite being extremely Loveable: How can we ever forget the village savories filled to the brim (of our bellies) so affectionately fed whenever we went there (since we had moved to Mangalore for Education purpose) & the compulsions of cramped (by lesser age gap)(though with full of mental space) siblings hardly affording us to meet us often, other than for family functions. (This used to lead us to a situation, as aptly put by Ronald Colaco: '200-odd cousins: Could hardly remember 100-odd names rest can't recollect/ messed up: Due Apologies!'). GOD knew their heart and hence chose Two Flowers in Sr. Juliet & Fr. Dinesh for Ministry in HIS Garden!
We, with kids Arool & Sumanth and whomever are remaining of Bellore's Pandilkars (or Mudaikodi, or simply put as 'Kodi' by Late Father-in-law of Ex-Mayor P.M.Castelino)(since many moved out) salute you two Dear Moushi/ Gigappu! at the Heavens Above!
Reminiscing about all the tiny Kid Cousins from Minga to Dinesh some nearly 50 years ago!
