Fr. Ajit Pai was a multifaceted personality and a servant of God who was endowed with a special grace bestowed by Jesus to him to heal the people who were suffering from various kinds of ailments. He received a special charism from the Holy Spirit to divine the water resources and through this mission, he was a blessing to hundreds of people who were in need of drinking water and, so much of the parched land was parched under cultivation. He mixed with all people without differentiating them on caste and creed. He had established a good rapport with the sages of the other religions and thus promoted inter-religious harmony. He was a Yoga expert. Besides this he was wee-versed in Vastu and had helped people to live in auspicious spaces. St. Francis of Assisi was his favorite Saint and by been deeply influenced by St. Francis's life, Fr. Ajit, in his own life became simplicity personified. He was so eco-friendly that he vibrated with Nature and enjoyed the company of flora and fauna, and planted trees in whatsoever parish he was transferred to. He enjoyed the company of all the plants and the animals, appreciating them as children of the same Creator. He was a counselor par-excellence, and empathized with the pains and anxieties of the ordinary people. Fr. Ajit was an ascetic to the core, and lived 35 years of his priestly life in the service of God in simple sanctity and deep asceticism. We pray that his soul may rest in peace.

Father Ajit helped the staff of Toranagallu Post office and divined water at Bellary post office on my request. He was simply great. His medicines were effective and his knowledge of numerology, Vastu and many other fields is simply admirable. His contacts with the lingayat and other communities and style of pastoral work should be followed by others. Fr Ajit paid was a man of many facets, all of them very beautiful and genuine. He was very honest in all his dealings simple, unassuming, and devoted. He preached quite well and meditated a lot. His in depth understanding of the Scriptures was quite admirable. He loved gardening and was very keen on saving the planet. His qualities were so easy to admire yet difficult to describe. He used to always say these words...God bless themhe never got angry at anyone or anything. He will be dearly missed. He has left a large void in our hearts but the good works that he did have left us with a deep sense of awe, appreciation and inspiration. May God show him mercy.

I am sad as I lost a good friend in the person of Fr. Ajit Pai. God has blessed me to know him since 1984 as I was a seminarian in Kowtal for a summer. His simplicity made his admirer. Later, his interest in homeo medicine and other help to people in their difficulties with his knowledge of various kinds of VATSU made him very dear to lot of people. People traveled long distances to visit him for guidance and consolation. His knowledge and intuition in water divining helped lot of poor people. He was always honest and straightforward in his views and never hesitated to let know people what he was thinking in any discussion. His faith was very precious to him and very specially he was very faithful to prayer and holy bible. His ministry in Toranagallu especially to many people in JSW who sought his guidance is remembered by one or other person whom I happen to meet on several occasions. He was an voracious reader on the subjects that interested him in the field of simple medicine. I was very blessed to succeed him in Toranagallu, the Holy spirit Parish to be with people who were taught by him strong faith and devotion to the church and to the Lord and to blessed Mary, Mother of God.
We will miss him for a long time to come. May he rest in peace
