Sr M Agnetta BS (70), departed from this life to her Heavenly reward on 02.12.2013 in the 49th year of her Religious Profession and 70th year of her life. She was the superior of Maria Kripa, Convent, Mahim.

Funeral rites will be held on Thursday, December 5 in St Michael’s Church, Mahim at 9.00 am.

Sr Agnetta hails from Mulki, DK, of the diocese of Mangalore. She has served in our communities at Dahanu, Karkal, Mother House, Puttur, Bajpe, Quepem in Goa, Belgaum, Gadag in educational as well as pastoral ministry. Sr Agnetta was noted for her prayerfulness, commitment to duty, missionary zeal, love for the poor, and concern for the Sisters. She lived her life vibrantly and joyfully. May her soul rest in peace.

Sr. Agnetta was a born teacher. I had the unique privilege of working under her at the Little Flower School, Bajpe. She was a great motivator for staff and students. During her tenure the school excelled in sports events. She was humble, affectionate and understanding person. Always smiling and made others smile. I and my colleagues enjoyed a very cordial relation with her and we still cherish the sweet memories of our association with her. Fun and frolic during staff picnics cannot be forgotten easily. May her soul rest in peace.
