K Hyder Sahib, 78, president of Noorul Islam Masjid Udupi, resident of Moodabettu died due to a heart attack at his residence on July 7.
Hyder Sahib worked as a post master. After his retirement, he actively took part in the renovation work of Noorul Islam Masjid and played an active role in providing the debt without interest to poor families from the Masjid committee.
He was also a member of the Jamiyyathul Fala and participated in several social service institutions.
He is survived by three sons, and three daughters and several relatives.
