B Radhakrishna Baliga (78), passed away at his residence “Krishna Vittal”, near Sri Vitobha Temple, Mangalore on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 morning. He is survived by wife, two sons and daughters.

He began his professional career as employee in Canara bank and had worked in several other places and finally got retired as a Bank Manager from Shimoga.

Being highly concerned in the field of religion and Bhajans, he has been the convenor of Hari Guru Bhajan Mandali as well. He was the one to initiate the daily bhajan in the Sri Venkatarama Temple, Carstreet, 15 years ago and has also written 3 books on the Hari Guru Bhajans.

He has worked as a resourse person in the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Bajan Kammata for over 10 years and is also a bajan singer and a harmonium player. He had joined hands with Saint Bhadragiri Acchutadas in harmonium, in his Harikathas and was highly inspired by well-known singer Shankar Shanubagh.
