Sr Aquilina Schwoediauer, SRA (93), Congregation of the Missionary sisters of the Queen of Apostles, Mangalore Province, Vamanjoor passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013.

Born in Austria, Sr Aquilina served as a Missionary in India (Uttar Pradesh, Maharastra, Kerala and Karnataka). Being a committed and zealous missionary she served in her capacity as a nurse in the hospitals, as mother in the orphanages, as superior at convents, as Hospital administrator at Kallianpur, as assistant superior General, as Regional superior of and as social worker. Being loved by poor people unto the last she served God. She breathed her last at Goretti convent, Kallianpur, Udupi at 8.40 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013.

Funeral cortege leaves Goretti Convent, Kallianpur, Udupi, to Queen of Apostles Convent, Vamanjoor, Mangalore on at 11.30 am on Monday, May 6, 2013.
