Winnie Vaz (77), wife of the late Marcel A Vaz, Thottam, daughter of the late Peter and the late Benedicta Fernandes, Barkur, mother of Bertrand / Susan, Dorothy / Leslie Lobo, Patricia & Anna / Deric D’Mello, grandmother of Laurel, Darryl, Lendl, Andrew, Vanessa, Joel, Cassandra and Brianna, sister of the late Edwin, the late Maxim, Stella, Gladys, Denis, Wilfred and Lancy, passed away on Friday April 12, 2013.

Funeral cortage leaves residence 'Marwin - Bert Villa', for St Annes Church, Thottam, on Friday, April 19 at 4.00 pm. Mass at 4.15 pm.

Seventh Day and Month’s Requiem Mass will be offered on Monday April 22 in St Anne’s Church, Thottam at 11.30 am.

Her self proclaimed dettachment from all regular activities is now changed to eternal Bliss. From the time she got married to your dad and until his death, she has been a beacon of family leadership, to keep your family bound together in love and affection at every steos of your wonderful lives. Mom and Dad raised you and you are the living examples of that dedicated love. Your mom took upon herself with the great help from your grandfather all responsibilities to make a real "HOME" for you all. She did command lots of respect from her neighbours and relatives because of her generosity and hospitality ao everyone who came to her. Machab and Winnibai did not have a "NO" for the needy who looked for assistance of various kind. They have been Leaders in their own way without reservation.

You have an abundant heritage to cherish that they so well provided you during your lives. May it become all source of grace to sustain this irraparable physical loss of your MOTHER.
