Maurice Mascarenhas (97), husband of Faustine Mascarenhas, father of Mary, Ligory, Camil, Robert, Rosy, Fredrick, Fr Edwin (Parish priest of Anegudde & principal of St Antony PU College, Naravi) & Alwyn, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Funeral cortege leaves residence ‘Kelmbet Berke House’ for St John Bosco Church, Kelmbet at 3.30 pm on Wednesday, March 6. Mass at 4.00 pm.

Heartfelt condolences to Rev. Fr. Edwin and all at home. Though I have personally not met Maurice uncle, I have had contacts with his other brothers and their families. Mascarenhas families in Bola/Kelmbet have contributed a lot to the Catholic Church in Mangalore and to the northern dioceses by giving their sons and daughters to work in the vineyard of the Lord. Great soul !! Great person!! May your memories live long. May your soul REST IN PEACE.
