Sr M Azella BS (94), passed away at 6.00 am on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in St Raymond's Convent, Vamanjoor, Mangalore, in the 72 year of her religious life.
Her mortal remains are kept in St Raymond’s Convent Chapel, Vamanjoor. Funeral on Thursday, November 22 at 9.00 am in St Raymond's Convent Chapel, Vamanjoor.

Sr Azella nee Louisa D’Souza born on 24.10.1919 to the late Joseph D’Souza and the late Florine D’Souza at Kinigoli in Mangalore lived her consecrated life with dedication. She joined Bethany Congregation on 28.05.1936 and made her first profession on 28.05.1940. She has served in our communities at Bethany Mother House - Bendur, Lisieux Convent - Puttur, Presentation Convent - Dharwad, Santa Cruz Convent - Kulshekar, St Joseph’s Convent - Sagar, Fathima Convent - Dornahally and Nazareth Convent, Bajpe as a teacher. She spent 33 years of retired life at Nazareth Convent, Bajpe and 3 years at St Raymond’s Convent, Vamanjoor.
