Benedict Lancy Mathias (53), husband of Victoria Mathias, son of the late Joseph Mathias & Marceline Mathias (retired M Lobo Teacher), brother of the late Sylvia Nancy Mathias, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012.

Funeral cortege leaves residence ‘Ron villa’, Bishop’s Compound, Attavar for St Joseph’s Church, Jeppu, Mangalore at 3.30 pm on Wednesday, October 24. Mass at 4.00 pm.

Death is not an end but beginning of new life,else our faith is in vain says St.Paul. Holding onto this hope is not easy, especially when someone most dear to our heart departs from our midst. Words cannot console you we know, but may the Lord of hope grant you consolation and courage to stand firm at this moment of your trial and loss.May Lancy's soul rest in peace. Dearest Machu Aunty, Victoria and our entire bereaved family, Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal. It is with a broken heart we say "Goodbye" to our dear cousin, Lancy. "Gone Too Soon"... but he will always stay in our hearts and memories and we will forever miss him in the family. He leaves behind so many fond happy childhood memories that will never be forgotten. We send our deepest sympathies to our beloved Machu Aunty and Victoria and we pray that God may give them comfort in the midst of their unbearable sorrow and pain. Our heartfelt condolences to all of our bereaved family too and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers, as we grieve with you at this hour. May his soul rest in peace.
