E A D’Souza (83), husband of Brijith D’Souza, father of Lancy / Janet, Johnson / Maria, Flossy / Anil, Elsy / Alwyn, Sunitha / Wilson, Joylus & sharal, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, following a brief illness.

Funeral cortege leaves residence for Holy Cross Church, Taccode at 10.00 am on Friday, October 19. Mass at 10.30 am.

E A D’Souza was a veteran Congress leader and a member of Hosabettu Mandala Panchayath.

He served as member of Taccode church parish council and also as President of Catholic Sabha Taccode Unit.

He was one of the key persons to establish high school in Taccode. He served as Director of Karinje Seva Co-operative Bank and President of Marooru Niravari Yojane.

Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, Former minister Janardhana Poojari, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Abhayachandra Jain have expressed sadness over his demise.
