Rotarian PHF Francis A D’Souza (54), Mangalore Wholesale Textile Merchant and member of Rotary Club Sunrise, Owner of A F D’Souza & Sons, Market Road, Mangalore, husband of Lidwin, father of Ashwin, Arjun and Athmica, passed away in Narcol near Gujarat on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the morning following a massive heart attack.
Funeral cortege leaves residence ‘Wilcon Apartments’ , Bendorewell for St Sebastian Church, Bendore, Mangalore on Thursday, October 18 at 4:15 pm. Mass at 5:00 pm.

He was an active member of Rotary Club Sunrise since November 1997 and was involved in Community Service for many years. In his role as Chairman of this committee he has been instrumental in donating uniforms and footwear to poor students of many schools in and around Mangalore city. He was the president of the Club for the period 2001 – 2002 and served in many committees of the club afterwards. In his death Rotary has lost an active member who had been a grateful donor in whatever community projects undertaken by the Club. D’Souza died following a massive heart attack. He was on holiday in Gujarat with his family when a massive heart attack took his life.
