Joseph Marian Castelino, husband of late Mrs. Coses Castelino residing at 20 Vaishali Apt., Seven Bungalows, J.P. Road, Andheri (West)-Mumbai, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1.30 pm at his residence after brief illness.

Late Joseph Marian Castelino was born on July 29, 1937 to late Baptist and late Florine Castelino of Puthrottu, Moodubelle (St. Thomas II Ward). He was brother of late Emilia Quadros and Victor Castelino. After his education in Belle, late J.M. Castelino went to Mumbai and served in the KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai for 35 years.

Late J.M. Castelino is survived by his three daughters and their families-Janet/Frederick-Jennifer & Freeda; Juliet/Patrick-Ryan; Dr. Olma (Veena)/Dr. Winston-Adrian.

With the demise of Duje Mam we have lost a freind, supporter, a person with whom we could always disuss on various subjects, approach to life and of course never ending jokes. He always created an impression with the people he met with the values he stood for. His contribution to the medical profession for 35 years, support to all relatives and known people who approached him and his building up a beautiful family for which he toiled. He was so dear to my mom (who died in 1992) that whenever they met, they were so happy to be together recalling their days when they kids. His command over English was rare to be seen around and of course with d political news - he had his group around his house both at Dadar and Andheri. Hats off Duje Mam. Condolences to Janet, Julie and Veena.
