Michael B R Lewis (74), son of Margaret Lewis and the late Joseph Mary Lewis, husband of Rowena, father of Rochelle / Jatin, brother of Gloria / Felix, Suzie / Alfred, brother in law of Cedric / Joyce, Sandra / the late Piyush, Eric / Michelle, passed away on Friday August 23, 2024.

Mortal remains will be brought to the residence for public viewing on Sunday, August 25 at 11.00 am. Funeral cortege leaves residence “Honnappa Kudru”, for Milagres cathedral, Kallianpur at 3.30 pm. Mass at 4.00 pm.

Dear Rowena, Rochelle and all members of the bereaved family: I am shocked to hear about the passing of Michael. Michael was the union leader when I worked for CEAT as a Human Resources Professional at its Bhandup factory in the early 80s. Michael was an extremely kind and caring person who worked diligently both as an employee and the union leader. He was always cheerful, smiling and ready to help. As an HR professional, I had to deal with Michael on a regular basis for various labour relations matters. I had great respect for him for his balanced approach and enjoyed dealing with him.
