Nathalia Pais (94), wife of the late Peter Pais, Allipade, Bantwal, mother of Antony / Philomena, Philomena / the late Charles, Louis / Veera, Fr Jacob Pais SVD, Inthru / Philomena, Fr Baptist Pais SVD, Denis / Rajani, Francis / Asha, Monthi Emilda / Alwyn and Fr William Pais SVD, grandmother of Maxim, Pradeep, Dileep, Divya, Herman, Fr Merwin SVD, Naveen, Lora, Larson, Prineeth, Preemal, Deyona, Ashline, Ashwitha and Aldrin, great grandmother of Hadline, Herline, Vion, Delisha, Adel, Viyan, Velan and Ana, Snehal, passed away on June 19, 2023.

Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3.15 pm on Thursday, 22nd June to St. Anthony Church, Allipade, followed by Holy Mass and funeral rites at 4 pm.

Indeed the Pais family has lost its matriarch. She was the senior most periaps in the Allipade parish. But that is not what she was known for. She was soft spoken, kind and ever ready to help those in need. She was like a shade giving tree to many. Her place - Malekody was not accessible that easily and better part of her life was spent in walking barefoot on a rocky terrain to the church and to the town. From that remote place she brought up ten children as she was widowed at a young age. Out of ten three were ordained as SVD priests and proclaim the faith in distant lands. All thanks to the sacrifice of Natalia Pais. In her departing a saga of motherly love and virtue of sacrifice is lost. While I pray for the Eternal Rest to the Departed Soul I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Heartfelt condolences to all children and family members of deceased Nathal Maushi. Certainly, she enjoys joyous moments while showing her glittering bare hands to Almighty Father by which hands she served helping each other, neighbours,ward people including us in numerous ways, in interest and strength. She was still great and courageous in sending her 3 sons to serve in Lord’s yard even as she lost her husband early. Her memories will ever remain and inspire us a lot.
