Margaret (Maggie) Farias née Tellis (99), wife of the late Bonaventure Farias, mother of Fr Terence Farias SJ, the late Lt. Col. Anselm /S hirin, Madonna / the late William Fernandes, Leonilla / Rajesh Mehta and Susanna / Aquin Mendonza, grandmother of Zarin, Shalini, Kamaali, Shruti, Naomi, and Daniel, great grandmother of Akanksha and Rickard, passed away on August 31, 2021.

Funeral Mass at 10.00 am on Thursday, September 2 in St Sebastian's Church, Bendur, Mangalore. Viewing and paying last respects from 9.30 am onwards. The burial will be held in private, in view of the current COVID-19 restrictions.

In light of the COVID-19 situation, we respectfully request you to refrain from visiting the house.

Our family is deeply saddened to, hear about the passing away of dear Aunty Maggie. Our family remembers her as a very affectionate, loving and noble person. Always helpful and active. we remember her hand written post cards. She used to write till her age of 98. I remember her type written card till she was 97. Our family connection is over nine decades as she was classmate of my father's sister Rose Agnes. Everyone who knows her will miss her. May her soul rest in peace and may her children grandchildren and all family members get the strength to be able to bear the loss. She will pray for you as always.
