Viewing of the mortal remains at 3.30 pm on Friday, August 28, followed by Mass and burial at 4.00 pm at Rosario Church Cemetry, Jeppu, Mangalore.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of Vally. We knew him back from 1983 when he was in Abu Dhabi briefly. He was a friend of late Valerian Mathias and we have fond memories of that very good relationship spending time together during that time. We met him a few years ago at Mangalore your residence when Jean was also there with him. It is sad that we have lost a good friend but that is God's plan. Dear Jean and Robin,
I am greatly saddened by the news and pray that God will take Volly to his abode. As you, specially Jean, knows, Volly and I were very good friends from even before he married your late mother Teresa. He had taken care of your late mother for many years when she was bedridden and was devastated when she passed away. My wife Clareen and I ad never failed to visit him whenever we came to Mangalore on a holiday. On the last occasion (I think in December 2017) you were also there and were about to leave for Bangalore. Volly, though younger to me, was my mother's first cousin. Now he has joined his beloved Teresa. RIP Volly; will pray for your soul. Condolences also to Jossy, his brother. Volly had my email address, and hope you will get access to it, Jean.
