Valerina (Vally) Pereira nee Fernandes (89), wife of Lawrie Pereira, mother of Brian / Sunita, Kevin / Iona and Mervyn / Iona, passed away on June 17, 2020.

Funeral at 4.00 pm on Thursday, June 18 in Our Lady of Miracles Chruch, Milagres, Mangalore.

Viewing and paying last respects from 3.30 pm onwards.

The funeral will be held in private in view of the Covid restrictions.

Dear Lawrie, I just learned the news on the sad demise of your beloved wife, Vally, and I wish to extend sincere condolences. I still remember the happy days in Bahrain, and in fact I had the privilege of meeting your Doctor son in Houston a few years ago in the company of our mutual friend, Dr. Marian D'Souza from New York.

I still remember your son was planning to travel shortly to India to attend his mother's Eightieth Birthday.

Please accept our sincere sympathies. I shall try to see you personally while I am in Mangalore for few more days, meanwhile you take courage, and may God help you and your family.
