Final rites and burial will be held at PDO Cemetery, Ras Al Hamra, Muscat on Thursday 18th June at 10.00 AM. Only 10 family members can attend as per authorities guidelines. Request the extended family and friends to share condolences via message/ phone call.

This morning Dad's funeral and internment went smoothly and peacefully and there was peace on his face. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you who stood by us in strong support and with prayers at this difficult time. My special thanks to Father George, our parish priest, our superb team of doctors and nurses at SQUH who cared for him as one of their own family, Indian embassy for their efficiency, the PDO family and close friends of Dad, our respective depts. of Obs/Gyn and Surgery at SQUH,
To all our close friends who stood by us through these trying days, those who helped and participated by their presence at the funeral today and those who prayed for us from far and near, my gratitude and thanks.

Dear Lovina, Norman , Nikita, Nehal and family,

The first time I met Felix was in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) Muscat in 1981 and from then on he was a friend and through him we were family friends along with his entire family. We spent quite a some time together, got involved in many social and cultural events that we organized in PDO. He was a thorough gentleman, very soft-spoken, respectable and respectful.

I am sorry to hear about his demise and pray that the Almighty God may bless his soul and give him eternal rest in his heavenly abode. I offer my condolences to his family and may they be comforted in the knowledge that God will bless him.

Dear family members of Felix,
Accept our heartfelt sympathies on the sad demise of Felix whom we knew in Muscat during 1972 -81. One should be thankful to the Lord for blessing Felix with 87 years of fruitful life which he lived to its best and also granting him a permanent resting place in a land where he spent most of his years. Felix was a real soft spoken gentle man always helpful and never hurt anyone's feelings. Fond memories reminds us the Friday afternoon we spent together in my house in the company of the Trios Felix/Louie/Joquim. Though we lost contact after coming to Mumbai we always enquired about Felix through our friends from Muscat. While we feel sad demise of Felix pray to our Lord to grant him the Eternal Peace and Happiness in the Heavenly Jerusalem which he rightly deserves.

To Laila, my father, Lorraine, and the family,

I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of this wonderful father and grandfather. I will always remember my visit to Bengaluru where I was first introduced to my extended family. Felix Lobo was so kind, thoughtful and open. Not only this but he also had a way of making me smile and feel immediately welcomed and accepted into his home and family. I will cherish my memories of the meals and conversations we shared together during the times I had the pleasure of visiting with him and am so grateful to Laila, who has become a second mother to me, and her family. May his memory and spirit live on through his loving family and friends.

Very sad to hear about Felix's departure from this earth. I remember him very clearly and was the pillar of the Office Services department. He worked extremely well with Mustafa Said who was the Office services Manager as well S his customers in PDO. I joined in 1975 and believe he has been working there for some time. I remember him as a quiet and pleasant gentleman. His English proposals were impeccable. An effective professional who gave a huge amount to PDO and Oman.

I have known Felix for 15 years having worked together in Oman. He came across as a thorough gentleman, always calm and composed. Never seen him ruffled up or even raise his voice ever. I have known Felix for about 20 years and worked closely with him for about 15 years. Felix was a thorough gentleman and we often spent some lovely moments even socially after work. Felix always had a calm composure about him and was overall a very nice person, always approachable. My condolences to his family who will immensely miss him.
