Funeral cortege leaves residence “Shawn Villa”, Nekkare house for Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva on Wednesday July 31 at 3.30 pm. Mass at 4.00 pm.

The sudden and untimely death of Edward Saldanha is really a shocking news.I am deeply saddened by his death leaving behind his wife Genevive and children Shawn and Steffi. May the Lord give them the strength to bear this great loss of their loved ones.While I was the Parish Priest of Shirva I have seen Edward being regular to all the Liturgical services and also actively involved in the Parish activities.He was a writer and a original thinker. He has contributed many articles to the Shirva Parish Bulletin "Saud Sandesh." I have seen in him helping nature. He was ready to help anyone in need.He was a good neighbour and friend to his vado people and also a wellknown person in the Parish. Truly his death is a loss to Shirva Parishioners and also we lost a good friend.
May the Lord grant him Eternal Rest.
