It is difficult to believe that my dearest friend, my close companion in my musical journey, has left for his heavenly abode. He was my right hand, a great support all these years, in all the singing activities, be it in the Church Choir or Cultural Festivities, he was always there for me.

I first met Dolphy with his Brother in 1970/71 at the Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore, where he came to participate in the Inter Parish Singing Competition. That friendship continued here in Muscat. He sang in almost all my CD's that I brought out, like LATIN, Ye Ye Jezu Mogalla, Jeevan Sangeeth and many other recordings. I accompanied him to Kuwait in 2008, when he took part in the First ever Gulf Voice of Mangalore, representing Muscat. So many years of togetherness and so much memories which are difficult to forget? All those who have interacted with him here in Muscat, will surely find it difficult to forget him as he was a gem of a man, polite, humble, always helpful and soft spoken.

I pray, that God grant extra measure of His strength to his dearest family and near and dear one's to bear this loss. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Good bye Dolphy, Please continue to Sing for us from Above. Till we meet again.

This is really a sad news for all of us.

Dolphy was a brilliant Konkani singer of the Konkani Community in Oman. He was the first male finalist from Oman in the maiden Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2008 which was held in Kuwait. Dolphy was an active member of the Konkani Choir of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and an inspiration to many young singers. Without a doubt, he was a wonderful human being and joyful in nature. We lost our one of the best friend.

May the Almighty Father grant his soul eternal peace. Mable, Jennifer, and Janice - may you have the courage to bear this great loss of your life.
